Answering public relations questions
How do you choose a tactic or tactics to use in your campaign?
Tactics are specific actions that a group takes to move toward its goals on an issue. Choosing tactics and carrying them out can be a fun and creative process if the group has done a good job of developing a strategy. Tactics should build and reinforce a sound general strategy. Keep your goal in mind when you are choosing a tactic or tactics. The website said “the tactics you choose should make it more likely, rather than less likely, that you’ll be able to meet and discuss your issue with them from a position of strength and mutual respect”.

Choosing your targer audience is an important part of determining which tactics to use. This is important because you need to know who you are trying to reach in the campaign. Another important thing to keep in mind is your position. Most of all the four P’s are important in determining your tactics. Product, place, price, and promotion are important in deciding which tactics you will use.
